suzy-x:

Me, K and Rachel chillin’ in the East Village. There’s a place on 1st Avenue called Royal Bangladesh, where three Indian restaurants intersect; one is in the basement, one is upstairs on the left, and the other to the right. They all have the same menu and wacky lights hanging from the ceilings. One has assorted holiday lights, the other has chili pepper lights, and the lower one has basic white fairy lights. The doormen in front of each of these restaurants fight over the patrons, tempting them with free wine and trying to convince them which restaurant is the best. One day I’ll ask them for a photo, last night we were just too disoriented to think about capturing such a scene.
